I am interested in the Vantage chassis, does anyone here have any experience with them? Any at all, good or bad. Do they hold up well on the Revo and the Jato? Can they take the pounding of just day to day bashing? no racing, just hitting the fields and the occasional beach dune runs. Have you noticd any issues of stress cracks, or just anything in general?

Thanks for any input you may have, I am a little hesitant to jump into a CF chassis where it seems not a whole lot of people are running them.

Cheers

I do no have one of the vantage chassis, but I will give you my opinion on a cf chassis.

With a ch chassis there is no chance of bending, it is either straight or broken. And they are super expensive. Now if you have a stock chassis or an after market metal chassis, if it bends no big deal you can bend it back, or but a new stock chassis for cheap cheap.

The little weight savings you will get prob won't be noticable when driving your truck. If it were an onroad car it might be different, but for something offroad the cost just doesn't justify the outcome.

I'm sort of curious about these as well. I see they make a CF chassis for the TMaxx now. I just messed mine up while on vacation so I've been wondering if it's worth it for the average light basher

My LHS used one on their store demo and cracked on their first time out at the track. Wasted a lot of money for little gain.
