Hey Guys,

I was wondering if it is recomended to set endpoints for your digial servos for your steering? Also with truggies do you want full linear throw in the steering like you would in a buggy or is it recomended to go dual rate and lessen the sensitivity of the steering? Thanks guys.

Tom

OH HELL YEAH set the EPAs...you'll fry your servos......center the horn.....turn your EPA setting down to 50% each way and work your way up testing the throw after each adj until you have NO more travel....make sure your pack is freshly charged when doing this as well......the expo is prefference...play w/ it and see if you like the first movement to be alot and then smooth out later in thetravel...I like linear my self....

Wow, I still have alot to learn. I have never messed with this kind of thing before. Of course this is my first digital servo too. I have never set endpoints before. Or dual rate for that matter. I learned to drive linear and I guess I just stuck with it. I am starting to learn that the more money you spend on an RC or RC parts the more fragile they are. Which kind of stinks considering that you spend the money hoping you will get a better part. I have got alot of money wrapped up in this CRT and it sound like if I sneeze hard the thing is going to break, or I am going to fry a servo. LOL

No way....it's like bicycles....I raced bikes that cost more than some peoples cars.....right now I have a fully loaded Specialized M2 road bike...it's not a tank (compared to other types of bikes) it cost a good chunk of change...BUT, what you are paying for is the performance it delivers compared to the other bikes/RCs/ATVs/Snowboards/Skis or whatever recreational activity you do that requires technical equipment.....sometimes the price equates to stronger but usually comes down to "I have a part that gives me an edge, If you want to compete w/ me either up your skill or pony up dough"......

I see what you are saying.... To get that edge you give up some durability. Makes sense. It just seems that the more you spend the more sensitive the stuff becomes. Like for example the Losi DrakeII stadium is killer. It has a carbon fiber chassis and is light and fast, but if you can't drive... your going to end up killing that chassis. It is a give and take I suppose. I hear the CRT is a killer setup, but will it stand up to my driving abilities! LOL
