Before I got my car a few days ago. I watched youtube video of poeple starting there cars. And noticed that when they start it up it sits and waits for you to pull the trigger. But when I started mine it runs alone without touching the control.. I wanted to know what do I have to do to make the car sit still when I when I turn it on.Cause what I usally do is that I have my little brother hold the break while I turn it on. Is there anything I can do ?

Thank you

How would i lower the idle?. But the Controller I tried I few things and the car just keeps running by itself. Unless I'm doing something wrong to the controller. If I am what should i be looking for?

Thanks Guys

on the controller.. (i forgot the names) they have buttons .. trim buttons.. adjust the trimon the throttle and also check your throttle linkage :) but u should def check idle screw

Oh Ok.. I def. check that when I get home tonight. But other then that i wanted to ask .. I have bought a second set of Rims for my car and 2 nights straight the rims have broken. What can i do to Avoid breaking them?. Other then buying metal ones.Lol.

what are you breaking them on? how u breaking them.. where do u drive? what is the terrain like..

i drive it on the street.. there is no pot holes or anything I'm thinkin maybe the little rocks of the street. That the car is running over them and causing it to break the Rim.

Ill take a picture today.Oh I was gonna ask is the idle screw next to the Carbinator?

isnt all three screws next to the carb??

my idle screw is the smallest screw with a spring b/w it and the carb. it looks significantly different from the lsn and hsn.

and check throttle linkage is set correctly.

Its the smallest screw on the carb. It usually has a spring between the head of the screw and the body of the carb that runs the length of the threads. What kind of car is it?

There are also lots of guides on the whole tuning subject. Just type "tuning" in to the convenient search tool on this forum and I found 77 threads. Also check out the sticky at the top of the General Nitro page and take a look at the tuning chart. Heres another resource to read. http://www.nitrorc.com/articles/2strokepart1a.html

I would also check to make sure the clutch isn't broken. My buggy has the same engine and it was broken out of the box. If you turn the clutch bell and hear a sound like metal dragging on metal then it is broken.

If that's not the case then your idle set screw is the one on the front of the carb. Turn it to the left to decrease the idle. There should be a 1mm gap when it's completely closed.
