It's a truck baught off ebay. (smartech as far as I can tell) t-maxx parts work for the most part.

Anyway, it runs erratic. The break in is done and I'm attempting the tuning. I think I have the high speed set right and has some decent top end but it only seems to last from about 2/3 - 1/2 a tank of gas. The first while I run it easy anyway until its warmed up but the last half tank it just gets progressivly worse. I have no tourque at all (part of this is problably due to the fact I think I have the wrong clutch shoes in it) but at least during the "optimal conditions" it can still climb a hill.

primer button leak?
other air leak?

other ideas?

sounds like it might be over heating. check the temp on the motor.

My glow plug is always wet when I check it after. And it spits oil out the exhaust. But I don't have a way to accurately check it.

Your glow plug is wet? It shouldn't be. If you're purging fuel out the glow plug, you need to put a new copper plug gasket in at the very least, if not a whole new plug. And if it's spewing tons of stuff out the exhaust, it still may be a bit rich. But work on the glow plug first.

No no, not the outside of the plug, just the bottom when I pull it out. But that was the point I was making about running rich so overheating was a less likely problem.
