Question on painting

Yea, I just cut around the blower (staying close as possible to the blower) and cut out the origoanl Cowl Induction scoop out after it was painted, they include a couple strips of 2 sided tape, but I used shoe goo instead
 
No prob, I just chose to do it like this because it seems everyone has the blower on it and I wanted to go with the "classic look"
 
Looks good. Love that candy purple. Just shines. One of my favorite colors. Very good job.
 
Thanks Candyman, and thank you again for your very helpful advise, I'm going to wait to do the next one until I get my compressor and airbrush set, and a little practice on some old 2 liter pop bottles..... also just a side note, the pic's just don't do it justice......I think I should take it outside in the day light for some much better pics since the paint has that blue look to it and in reality it is indeed a very nice shade of purple
