I recently bought this charger from Tower Hobbies:

I also bought the following power supply from Radio Shack:

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cata...uct_id=22-504

The problem I am having is that the output on the front of the power supply can't be unscrewed far enough for me to clip on the positive and negative leads from the charger, could I run a wire from the power supply and just clip the leads from the charger on when I need to use the charger?

PS I hope I am making sense

JB you might be making sense but your links aren't at all. They are dead links thus why you haven't gotten a response. I am sure if you fix those or at least say what you have gotten we could be of more help. Later

Your local hobby shop might/should sell tubing (prolly K&S brand) and you should be able to find stock the correct size to make an extension. Radio Shack sold a tubing piece for wires to be soldered to then inserted into the outputs awhile back also.

All of my supplies no longer have plastic nut part, I grab them with plyers and turn them off since most clips will not work with what you are talking about (I THINK?) just make sure nothing shorts the two outputs and you're all set.

I did exactly that with my power supply. Connected short wires to it and clip my charger to the wire. Just make sure the 2 wires or clips don't touch each other and short out the power supply. FWIW, I used stiff house wire for the short wire.
