Question about shock oil

Hello everyone,

I need to know what is a general oil weight to run in a set of Savage shocks :shrug: ? I have 2 sets, one with red springs that are on the truck now and the other spare set with Blue springs. I also still have the black springs that came with the truck.

30wt is a good place to start for general bashing around. IMO the black springs are too stiff for most surfaces, I'd go with one of the softer springs and adjust oil wts to your personal preference.

I use 50 wt. in mine. Seeing as I jump mine more than easy driving.

i run the 30wt all the way around.and it seems to do very well
