As the title states, I'm looking for a quark 33 ESC, and maybe a few of them if you have them. Just let me know what you've got. Don't bother with other ESC's, I'm specifically looking for this model.

there is a guy/seller on 'the other forum" that sells them new, but i dont think it was in a specific vendor section....

you talkink about John Robert Holmes? You know me, I've been on the phone with him tonight. He doesn't have them in stock, and it's VERY hard to find anyone in the US that still has them because the distributor has stopped bringing them into the US. If you can find somewhere that has them in stock let me know, I might buy a whole truckload of them to keep some and resell some later.

Hey Charlie I am not sure, but I think I have seen them over here in Japan.....I will check for ya.

Funny you should mention that, I was actually thinking about that a little while ago because you're one of few people over seas that I've done business with. See if you can get them. How much do you think it would cost to ship them over here? They're quite small, like half a credit card with some wires coming out, not like a regular ESC. I really appreciate you trying for me, I know you didn't have to mention it at all. Thanks again.

I have a USPS APO address so it is not any more than shipping from California. I'll check my LHS sometime this week.

if it isnt that much, i may be interested in picking one up, really gotta do some number crunchin though...

devin I'm working on getting quite a few of them, so if you really want one let me know and i could hold it for you for a week or two. Do some research though, because you might like a sidewinder better and it's about the same price.

Yes I don't think the Quark is for your application. The vxl, MM, or sidewinder esc is the best choice for you.

No, the quark is a really good choice for him. He's running a crawler, and the quark will operate a brushless motor MUCH smoother than a mamba or a sidewinder. The VXL isn't even an option. I just wanted him to do his research and consider what motor he plans to run further down the road. If it's brushless, the quark is the way to go. If it's brushed, like the cobalt puller motors, then the sidewinder or mamba will do just fine and has more programming options.
