I'm looking at building this. i need opinions on reliability and power. I'm looking at lifting 1kg, so a reliable 2-3kg would be nice. there are 2 frames there. one is $15 cheaper, opinion? and I'm looking at running 1x2s battery for each esc/motor and a small 2s for the receiver and pc board.

Ps, I'm keeping the budget down ATM as this Is the testing phase, eg the cheap hobbyking controller/receiver. If there are any items that won't blow the budget too far out let me know

Quad Order, with a couple extra bits (4s packs and nimh not related) yes i got 2 frames, and 2 lots of 3s packs. intend on making another level on the frame to hold everything in close and hidden. intend on running LED lights on front/under side of the frame so i know where front is

lol, the gf actually likes it she has her toys and i have mine mine are just a tad more expensive.... but i do make more money so its even....

I dont know much about Quads but my one piece of advice I would throw out there is to use something other than Turnigy lipos. Zippys are usually pretty close in price so I would look at going that route. I would suggest a Gens or a Sky but neither of them have any 5000mah 4S pack in stock right now in the 20C range.

the 4s packs are for my dad to run leds for camping.

i have a heap of turnigy lipos already and there all pretty good and havent had a problems so i went with what i know works. one day i will buy some other brands.
