iv only got a battery pack in my receiver with 4 AA batterys in it , is there i can change it over to a rechargeable battery pack ? and can anyone suggest a battery pack or should i go with rechargeable AA's ? and will the pushglo work with my battery pack ?


and what pushglo set up is the best ?

just slip it under one of the engine bolt heads that go into the engine mount.

it just have to earth onto the motor somewhere. so you could mount it to the underside of the engine mount if you wanted, but not recommended as it might get destroyed with rocks etc.

it just has to complete the circuit between the glow plug wire and the earth.
 
what about a battry pack for the reciver ? I'm only running on 4 AA battrys should i upgrade to a proper rechargeable battry pack ?
 
dont think it matters. someone else might be able to answer that one. the receiver only outputs 4.8-6v so i figure 4xAA batteries should be enough?

lol. i have a 1/10 revo and a 1/16 brushless revo. both money pits and both fun as hell.
 
A rechargeable pack is better than alkaline batteries. They tend to have longer lives in the truck for a day of running and they are rechargeable. They also keep the current flow up until the end of the charge unlike alkalines.

but back to the question the pushglo is brilliant no doubt just dont spill any fuel on it as mine tends not to work after that,put it some where away from the tank

Earth is the foreigners way of referring to the electrical ground.
Most of us are Americans and we have a lot of trouble understanding people who speak English. :hehe:

you americans have some great muscle cars too, too bad we can't buy them for that price over here. $30k for a muscle car is nothing over here. were paying $55k+ over here for the base model 6L v8.
 
I run the Ofna 1700ma hump packs in my trucks and love them.

If you don't use reverse get the switchglo pro and plug it into the slot for your reverse servo...flick of the switch on your tx and it lights the plug. They're worth every penny IMO
 
there only good for cars/planes that have remote start. if you have to sit next to the truck and pull a pull starter or use an electric start while ur at the car its not that hard to push a button once.
 
I'm referring to the '73-'76 Aussie Falcon XB GT coupes and Holden Manaros. Although the Vauxhill VXR and the Malloo ute are pretty wicked for modern day models. Do y'all just put superchargers on everything down under? It sure seems like it.
