I went to my LHS and finally purchased it! The red brand new Revo 3.3! The guy that runs the shop is breaking it in for me at no extra charge, and he seems really nice and helpful too! So basically it's in the shop! :D Can't wait to take it out and drive it!!!

IMO, breaking it in is part of the experience of ownership. But Anyway, I think you'll be really happy with the Revo, congrats!

what's IMO mean? I couldn t seem to break in my first Nitro RC, that's why I'm letting someone else break this one in for me. Trust me, if you got as frustrated with the whole break in process as I did, with no one to help you physically with it, you would want someone to just do it for you so that you could actually enjoy it and drive it around! lol :) I don't take instructions very well over the Internet.. lol

IMO= In My Opinion.

IMO, once he gets done breaking it in and before he tunes it, ask him if you can watch and learn while he does the tuning. You are still going to have to make adjustments to it and that is the perfect time to learn. He can explain what he's looking and listening for while tuning. Otherwise you'll be stuck with taking it in every time the weather changes. That can get a little expensive.
Oh yeah, congrats on the purchase!!

Thanks and thanks you guys, I'm pretty excited about the purchase myself! He did tell me that I will have to still make adjustments to it when the weather changes, that part I understand. Your right, maybe I should go in there when he is tuning it. I asked if I could watch if he broke it in, and he said that I could, but it wouldn't be one full season, and I had other things to do this weekend. Like work. lol but yeah I also like that Traxxas has he DVD and the toll free number to call for help if you need it.

you probably dont care but i have to agree with Racer, everyone has to start somewhere and the break in process is a huge learning experience. You learn how to read your plug, you learn how to read your engines sound, and you learn how to tune it. IMO you should ask the guy at your LHS if you can watch him break your car in so you can learn more. This way you can learn the right way. Just my opinion.
