Well, it could be a couple of things. But most likely your one-way bearing is slipping. If you remove the pull starter, there is a hex shaped bearing that sits on the shaft that comes out the back of the engine. Take that off. Soak it in nitro wash or denatured alcohol for a few minutes. Then put a few drops of light oil (like 3-in-1) on it. Put it back on the shaft, making sure the bearing is on the right way. It should grip when you turn it clockwise when looking from the rear. Then put the pullstart back on and you should be fine.

also would u have any idea how long to charge a reciever pack

charge at 1 amp or below and have the voltage drop set at 20 or below and make sure the battery does not get hot! I charge my receiver pack the day before at 0.5amp and then top off right before the A-main. Depending on the size of the battery (i.e. 1000MaH or above) should be good for 45min-1hr of run time if the battery is fully charged and in good condition.

OIL the bearing? It was oil from the engine that caused mine to slip. The first time it happened, I was told to clean it just the way you explained, but no oil.
Also, clean the engine shaft that the bearing rolls on.
