Hey all, Please forgive me i am a newbie.

I have purchased a Kyosho Inferno mk3 and i'm currently in the middle of breaking it in, I followed all the instructions in the manual got the engine running then it cut out. I then Tried to pull the Starter cord and the cord is EXTREAMLY tight and will not pull out, i thought i had flooded the engine so i removed the glow plug placed it on it's side tried to de-flood but the pull cord will not move :( I'm unsure what is up with it, what should i do?

Please help all advice welcome lol

Your piston is stuck at the top of the sleeve. No big deal.
Follow this advice to the "T"
Preheat the engine with a hair dryer or heat gun. This will cause the sleeve to expand and make the next step easier.
Take a screwdriver or big pliers and turn the flywheel until it is freed up again.
Now you are ready to try it again.
To prevent this from happening again, preheat the engine to at least 150F. This will make starting so much easier and it will idle better.
 
i have heated it upto 170F with heat gun and tried moving it with pliers but the flywheel is stiff to move and won't turn =[ still at square one, It moves clockwise way but not anti clockwise,

EDIT## i just tried it again the flywheel moved pulled the cord and the cord snaped :/ lol

As a side note, once you get it fixed, take the glow plug out and rotate the flywheel until the piston is at the bottom of the stroke, then make a reference mark on the flywheel that you can see when the engine is installed. When you shut the engine off, put the piston at the bottom of the stroke by using the reference mark.

This is just generally good for any engine. Not letting it cool with the piston up in the sleeve all the way helps prolong engine life.
 
Found out the problem the conrod has snaped lol i hadn't even driven it yet. The engine turned over once and broke lol, i'm going to the shop tomorow to replace it as i've only had it 3 days and used it for 2 minutes :(
 
my rc10gt2 did the same thing. Stored it for a week after break in. When I tryed to start it again the pull cord would not pull out. Started to tear into it and found the connecting rod had broke. What is the deal? Is there some thing I did wrong during break in? Should my LHS warranty this?
