I just got a psp and didnt come with any manuals or anything. I've tried to find them online but the only ones I can find they want you to pay for it. Anyway, my question is how can a person get online? What steps do I need to go threw? Any help would be VERY much appriciated.

ok hold on let me turn mine on...
before i you read you need to have you wep key and a wireless modem. if you have this begin
ok when you turn it on go all the way to the left and scroll down to net work settings.
go to infrastructure mode.
go to new connection.
it should say conncetion 1 (you can change the name if you want)
go right to scan and pick the highest signal strength.
go right to wlan security settings
press down to wep
enter you wep key and go to enter
right again to address setting select custom
the first 2 leave on automatic set proxy server to do not use and internet explorer to start
it should then show you your setting list
go over it make sure its right
then go right again and press x and go to test connection
all should good it should say you are successfully connected to the internet close the internet brouser.

I have Dsl if that makes a difference. If I have to enter my Wlan settings manually, where can I find the "SSID of access point"? Or my "Wep Key"..

LOL. Andy you need high speed internet and a wireless modem. also to get the wep key you would have to call you internet provider. i got mine when my internet was acting up. i have road runner and my mother works for time warner so it was easy for me to get it.
one more thing andy. i can't remember if you will need to update you psp first. i dont think so though. what version is you psp?
