I checked one out in the Sony store in Dallas last week, almost bought it but passed. The picture is amazing but just can't justify buying to like versions of the same game to play in PS2 and PsP. What I did find that I am going to pick up was a nice portable DVD player with inputs for under $200, so with the new thin version on PS2 and that it's not bad shlepping all that around. On the airplane I can just plug my PS2 into the RCA jacks and play at any monitor.
 
Ds is cool though. Big screen on top with game and map on bottom. Plus i love to play mario. I'm happy witht he DS.
 
The LCD problem with the PSP has steered me away for a while until Sony can get their crap together. I'm not about to drop $250 bucks only to find dead or stuck pixels. I've read quite a few stories about this issue. It took one guy 6 tries before he found a flawless LCD screen. I've heard Sony is going to cover the LCD screen under warranty but they are still not recognizing it as a problem.

Do you have a lot number? or anyway of finding out that you have a bad one?Mine works great. Is it an instant thing to recognize?
 
Mine works great as well. It also turned pink today. Come to find out that it changes color every month. I'm not much for pink, so I'm going to try and change the month in the settings, and then back to see if it will become another color. I also found out that if you take it to a place that has WiFi you can play online, and the guy at the game shop said if you have a wireless router you can do it at home, but I can't remember what the web site he said to go to was.
 
i have a DS is is pretty cool I have fun with it, I was going to get the PSP but my friend found out some new things about the Xbox 2 so that is what I am looking in to getting. plus I could not belive spending around $300 for it, all the games I have seen are between $39.99 and $49.99, I will probly what till this summer to buy one but I am not sure.
 
Changing the month, and back didn't work. It appears that April is always pink.
 
huh, I never checked the color as I am aways turning it on to play NFS Rivals. Never pay attention to it. Funny if it is true. fan of every color though so no bigs.
 
That's what I've been playing. I bought it last Sat, and I'm alredy about 40% done with the game. Can't seen to put it down. LOL!!!!

Gotta respect the wife since I am on here so much. Then there is running my rides.
 
Bought Tiger Woods for the PSP last Sat. It is awsome. Tried to WiFi both it, and NFS with two other people. Apparently you can only WiFi with one other person at a time. Man that sucks!
 
haha wow how ironic i just picked up my psp a couple days ago and i agree this is the system to have right now besides xbox but you can't lug an xbox around! lol
 
I'm deff thinking about picking one up also. but as said above I might wait till sony will cover all the lcd problems. I've heard they wont right now because they dont manufacture the LCD.

Id be pissed if I got a few dead pixles or a complete line of them.

I'm 30 and also a game freak lol. I'm lucky though my wife love to play ps2 with me can't ask for much more than that. And she,s not to bad at it either lmao!
