I really like the looks of the PsP compared to the DS. With the DS i dont know about having 2 screens. Anyways i am constantly going for real long trips and want something to do while on those trips. I have not been able to find much on the PSP or its games. I have found some good pics for those of you who have not seen it.

Anyone know the release date for the U.S?
Or some really usefull info?
Or just your thoughts?

I have to say that looks pretty cool. I can't honestly say that I could see myself ever getting one but none the lesss pretty cool. Big Sony fan here.

Humbolt when you do get both do a review and let me know which you like better. Please. Also humblot your over 20(i think) and buying handhelds. I have never seen an adult play a gameboy. Although video games are for everyone.

Yup 26 and a gaming freak. My woman is pretty pissed right now but it is not my fault. They just released too much good video game poop all at once.

I haven't been on much lately, because I bought a PSP last Sat. I am also 26. What's it to ya!?!? LOL!!! My buddy showed up with one, and I just had to have it. Been playing Need For Speed. It is sweet to be able to play WiFi with others. Seems the range is about 200 ft, and it works great in a house even when one is upstairs, and another down, but it didn't work well out of line of sight outside. It uses a memory stick like a digi cam, and can store pics, and MP3's. It came with Spiderman2 the movie, so for those of you that have to justify things to your wife just tell her it is for her to watch movies on those long car rides. Anyone looking for more info, and/or a list of games PlayStation magazine has a right up on it.

Hey we geezers like to have fun too. I'm pushing 40 and I have three children...hence three GBA's. I constantly find myself picking one up and playing until my tired old eyes can't take it any longer....about 15-20 minutes. Also, whenever my kids have a new game for the playstation2...and get stuck on a certain level (they're young)...they yell at ol' dad to come down and help them get past it.

30 and loving the PSP! It is so freaking sweet!. MP4 player, upgradeable memory, BEST portable screen( like a Laptop but better IMO),. Need for speed Rivals kicks ass on it.

The bummer is that it still needs the software and cable to upload MP3s.

IMO it is the BEST Portable game console ever released.

Yeah the screen is awesome! I playing it right now. I wonder if you ccan play online?

Hey Jon, whats an MP4? Is that some type of new file? :stick:
MP4 is an MPEG-3 but with video. and it kicks ass. You will need a converter though but a decent tru dedicated MP4 player costs close to 600 and has a 80Gig HD. PSP has the playability of one and plays Movies and Plays games.

You can but you will need to be hooked up to a wireless router... I think . Need to do more research on that aspect of it. I haven't been to interested in online gaming. Has similar battling features via Infrared.

I got the DS and love it. THe PSP is a lttle too much money. I might pick one up...

Granted it was too much money but it pays off when I go on long trips and my son can watch spider man2 or play a good game without having him squint or hold it close to your face.

just another toy to get......I'm happy w/ 36" non squinting telivision game play...I can't get into those little screens....even my PC at work has 21" monitors (x2)....home has only 17" bummer...I saw th ePSP a few days ago at friends place and couldn't see the point in playing that one when he's got a huge TV w/ PS2 & X-box in front of him......I guess I'm getting old
