swiftnocious
I just bought it to late
I was just loosing interest in the swift because of the little problems all the time
now it's your chassis that isn't hardened enough, the tank is giving problems when nearly empty, the swift2 had a fronttower with a hole to large for the suspension axle passing through it, in the past the outdrives and gears were not hardened or shimmed.....the marketing changes are a mess, even I can do it better..
this car became enoying to me, that's all.....
and I liked much more the original lila colors of schumacher then the us pattern pro's mix
now the pro should be alright, there is still the tank issue and getting pro parts and not mixing them with old parts. The 4 screws holding the diffs together, got to be fastened just enough not to crash the internal big gaskets of 0.3 mm to much, causing the gears to be too close to each other. The shocks and new diffs look ok but with swift you always have the problem thinking: but, are they really ok in the end!!
now I bought a Mayhem pro at 270,00 + 55 postage,
no big problems insight what so ever
it's cheap, well made, drives like a prospec or xb8, it goes together like a xb8, all gears and outdrives are milled and hardened!, parts are really cheap: 5 pounds for 4 tuning shocksprings..and you don't need many..nor tuning parts
this buggy is beautifull, modern and doesn't break easily
a real alternative to the swift pro

:smoke:
so I now am even selling my xb8 "prospec" ! fitted with RMV front torquerod and 1piece motormount, blue carbon wheelscrappers...
by the way Dinball rcmart is really selling the real swift pro for 251.40 usd
