What a bunch of dumbasses, I love how they disagree and then can't back up their judgments and get pissed off. That one chick that said "you must know because your soooooooooooo smart" should have her head shaved and a M16 put in her hands and then she can walk up to Saddam and try to "negotiate peacfully".
Man that was HAnity and Combs the other night. Dude that is So sad that we have idiots like that here. I belive in freedom of speach and peoples right to protest and question our government but atleast come with a damn solution you idiots...x

As a member of the US Navy, it disheartens me to see this kind of "support" for our leadership. My thoughts on those that do not support our government or the military, that is your right....just make sure you remember those that have died and will continue to die so that you may have the freedom to open your suck and badmouth the very ones who allow you to live the way you do.

Gotta love it. Give people enough rope and eventually they'll hang themselves. I agree with people's right to protest. And I thank guys like Sky and Pirata and Christian and all the others who fought for that right. And I am happy that I have a right to call these people moronic, uninformed pinheads! You'd think that if these people are so passionately opposed to war, they could think of one (ONE) alternative solution. ONE!!! Nope. Ask them what to do and they look at you like a deer in the headlights. The sad part is if you dropped a nuke in the middle of that protest, you'd actually RAISE the national IQ!!! I say let them protest. Like any other vehement protestors, they'll eventually shoot themselves in the foot.

X, fill us in on how it goes. I'd be interested to see what kind of turnout there is and what notable faces show up. We see so much of the opposition every night on the news. I think it's time we see some support on our airways..
Bombs are for cowards who are afraid of a good asskicking themselves. If the States planed to send in their boys to do what they do best on the ground, there would be no anti-war panzies for miles. You'de get parades of support. But we know the way the States will get the job done, or not done if you consider Afghanastan. After all the whole reason for going in was to get Osama and his boys. Now Afghanastan will pay deerly for years to come and Osama is still running free. Mission Failed.

The world wants to support the valid American cause of fighting to remove worthless scum of the world from power, but not at the cost of more innocent lives Iraqui or American!

OK. So we have an anti-war proponent in our midst. I'm cool with that. I think saying that the objective is to bomb the hell out if him is a bit narrow. There are tens of thousands of troops just waiting to get the green light. And there will be troops on the ground doing business. There are in Afghanistan. We're not just flying over and blowing every thing up. Although our technology does allow us to. Why put a person in the line of fire when you can slide a missle through the diningroom window from 10,000 feet up?
We all know Hussein has to go. Compare Bush to Hitler if you must, but what's happening in Iraq is eerily similar to Germany in the 20's. If Hussein thinks he can conquer another country, you bet he'll try. He's not a nice guy. He has mamed and murdered his way into power. And we all know that absolute power corrupts absolutely. He wants more. Someone in his position always does. So what is it going to take to prove it to the rest of the world? I see the rest of the world sitting on their hands until he sends off the missiles to poke holes in most of the middle east. Will that be enough to prove he's dangerous? Is that what it will take? What then? Should we slap him on the hand again and try 18 MORE resolutions that he'll ignore? Gimme a break.

Americans love life and we don't want any of our soldiers to die. But you are smoking crack if you think we are going to bomb innocent civilians you are also crazy as a loon if you think we are going to put our boys and girls on the ground to take military installations like Iraqi airforce bases. Screw that poop they are in the military so they know they may be a casualty of it. We are not about to take high losses also so it makes other people feel better. We are going to bomb stragic military installations. Not get a bunch of our soldiers killed to make you feel better.
Man I guarantee if some people blew some poop up in Canada you would damn sure want our help instead you let anyone come in your country and claim assylum and then wonder around and do what ever they want. While you try to validate there claims. That is some seriously flawed poilicy there.
Also you canucks offten forget that no one I MEAN NO ONE FU@K$ with you because you are our neighbor. You might not being singing the same tune if you didn't know that NO one will ever invade you because we will kick their ass.
Its like H. Norman Schwarzkopf said "The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it." The problem is it seems AMERICANS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT FEEL THIS WAY. So we have to do like Schwarzkopf said You BRING THE FURRY OF THE USA Military against our enemy as hard and fast with GREAT FURY so that you can prevent loss of life. By blowing this poop out of stuff we kill their moral and lots of them surrender instead of being killed slowly in gun battles between men on the ground.... X

Spoken like a true canadian Massivex. I can't add much more to what Candyman and X said, they summed it up quite well, and I am with them. I thank our military for giving us the freedom we have, no matter how it has to be done, and by using bombs and saving as many of our owns lives, that just goes without saying. Did those dirty laundry heads that blew up the twin towers care about innocent civilians? HELL NO! So go stick your head back in the sand eh, I say turn the whole damn region into a parking lot.
I'm cool with the parking lot idea. As long as they provide shuttle service to my office...

Everyone has a right to their opinion, and in fact, I agree wholeheartedly with most of the sentiments in this thread. Hussein has to go. Fine, get the job done. Personally, I think they need to be taught a lesson after what their cousins did to your country. But this "typical Canadian" bullshit really pisses me off. You think we don't know that nobody messes with us because we're in your shadow? Why do you think we spend f-all on our military? Is this the way every Canadian wants it - NO. Ask yourself this, how much pull does Washington state or Idaho really have in DC? I know I'm off track here, but my point was that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Is that homo Sean Penn a typical American? I didn't think so.
And X, if you don't think innocents will be killed you need to pull your head out of your ass. I know MOST who read this won't care, but Canadian soldiers running a live fire excercise in Afganistan last year were killed by American pilots who dropped a bomb on them because they had bad intelligence. If that can happen, do you think there's really going to be a 0% civilian casualty rate? Minimal perhaps, but poop happens in war. To think otherwise is just kidding yourself.

Well I never said that there would not be some civilian casualties. There will be and civilian losses and I fully realize that. The fact is though that there will be a hell of a lot less becasue of the way we run a war.
Also as for your soldiers that got killed I am sorry that happend but I will be damned if I am gonna kiss Canadas ass over that. They are hanging out to good Airforce men over this poop to make your government haoppy and its a f-ing scnadal supreme. Anyone in the military knows they have a high risk of getting hurt and thats what happened.
As to grouping all canadians together. I should not have generalized so much. I am also glad to see you speak out its good for us to know that not everyone there is a pasafist hippie...X

I wasn't looking for an ass kissing X, my point was in war, bad things happen. And scandals abound my friend, wanna talk about soft-wood tarriffs and California's unpaid power bills to British Columbia? No, lets not open up any more cans of worms. We do the best we can. We vote for who we think will do the best job, and are stuck with the consequences of our actions. And lets not forget, our government IS backing yours. Personally, I'd rather have the full unconditional support of the smallest country in the world than the second largest military in the world sitting on the fence and jerking my chain.
