Hello,

New into rc boating. I’m presently building a Springer tug. However not allowed according the springer rules, I’m planning on using a shottel drive from Graupner.
To keep the CG low, I ‘d like to position the motor as low as possible. Meaning that the shaft is 20 degrees off in relation to the shaft of the shottel drive axis.
Can a standard coupling handie this?

answer to your q no.. can you use a pully or chain setup from motor to shaft?

Good idea, but I’m afraid it will be to complicated for this size of boat.
Gonna install a classic shaft and prop instead.
Thank you for the insight!
