Well, its that time! While I'm just about done with my CyberSavage, I had to wait for a part to be cut, I have decided to move along with my Fioroni MP 7.5 conversion.

As it stands, my Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 is pretty darn stock. And has proven to work very well at that. Well now is time for a semi-overhaul with the rest coming at the end of the season.

For starters:

MP-7.5 Ergal Hard and Lightened 4mm Main Chassis
MP7.5 Ergal Rear Shock Tower (6mm Lightened)
MP7.5 Ergal Front Shock Tower (6mm Lightened)
MP7.5 Steering Upper Plate (6mm Lightened)
MP-7.5 Radio Tray (3mm Lightened)

You can see the parts here:

MP7.5 Ergal Rear Chassis Brace
MP7.5 Ergal Front Chassis Brace
MP7.5 Turnbuckle Set (6 pcs.)
Ferodo Brake Disc for Kyosho (1 pc)

You can see those parts here:

By the end of the season I expect to pickup some Torsen diffs for the front and center. As well as the center bulk/brake assembly, some CVD's and possibly the option mounts for my hinge pins.

The project is on!

LoL - Looks like you're getting a little nervous over my PCR I've got on the way. Oh well keep working, by time the ECB comes I'll be showing you how a real buggy runs :D

Nice shopping list. I too have been busy surfing for those gorgeous Fioroni/Ergal parts for my Storm. I keep looking at those torsen diffs but the price just scares me away but from what I've heard and seen, I wouldn't need to replace all the diffs, just the front one. What's your intentions ?

I intend on doing all 3 if they perform the way I expect. But at least the center and the front for now. The whole concept of TORSEN just gets me moving. Literally.

Hey Wood, dont worry man, Ill take it easy on you ;)

Is this one gonna stay on the shelf with the cybermaxx?? lol

Keep Your Pimp hand strong my Brother....

So I sit down, rip the front assembly off and then the rear. Thats when problems hit.

My rear hinge pins are bent along with the hinge pin braces.

The front looks OK but thats it. I may replace these too.

So for now, the front and rear assemblies will come down to small parts, be thoroughly cleaned, rebuild and match the shocks, clean and relube/silicone pack the diffs along with replacement of two of the shock standoffs.

Hehe, looks like it will be more than what I originally expected.

That CyberMaxx may never see dirt ;)

You fellas can hop-up your buggies all you want. My Storm will remain as stock as it can since it is only a BashingBuggy anyway. Go Stock!! LOL

Chris - CyberSavage??? We need to meet up at the LHS for a sneak-peak! :D

Its called durability. I was like that till I taught myself the true meaning of bash and started breaking things, lol.

Hey Wasteland...that beast is christians not mine....if it were mine it would look like it has been used LOL

What a waste of an RC. That thing, the CyberSavage and this new buggy idea of yours are a waste of money, if you don't run them. They sure look nice, but they were built to test the limits...of what, your shelf. I think not. Load them up and run the heck out of them.

I'm not against a show truck but something that's too bling bling seems like a waste of money. It's kinda like buying a new Lamborgini to keep only in the show room and to take pics of.

Ehhh When I go for bling it is at least for functional reasons. I just couldn't imagine spending all this money to build a trailer queen. It just isn't fair to the car. I mean it wants the crap kicked out of it.
