I just wanted to share a little project I got going on right now, and that is my VERY unconventional brushless swap in my losi micro b. It's in the prototype phase currently, as I have to design some stuff for it still. Lets just say it has a hobbywing set up, meant for 1/18 and 1/16 trucks ;). Pics to follow in a little bit, as well as my plans for it, and designing the new parts.

Should be interesting. The micro b brushless upgrade with “standard brushless” kit is supposed to be crazy, can’t wait too see how insane plays out.

Let’s just say it’s got enough power to do standing backflips when it hooks on carpet, with really BALD tires!!! I’m eating birthday dinner for my brother, so I’ll get some pics when I’m done!!

Sorry for the delay everyone, life took a hold of my spare time, as well as Halloween having been last night, and I was at a party. Here is some pics of the prototype Speed Freak Micro B!

Alright, I have some updates! I redesigned the motor mount to have a shock tower brace built in, as I had to remove the battery tray and top esc mount, and by removing those it introduced a bunch of flex, so much so that when I punch it the gears come out of mesh and grind. I also redesigned it to elongate the slots for more adjustment, as well as redesigned the chassis extensions to be flush with the bottom of the stock chassis, instead of screwing on to the bottom, decreasing ground clearance. Ill post some screenshots of the designs, as i'm at school and can't use my phone whatsoever due to Oregon law, including at lunch.

At some point I'm gonna start an Etsy story and sell stuff, but I gotta spend $50, as I found a guy who cad modeled the whole micro b, and its on cults 3d for $50. It will enable me to make parts that have 99.99% accuracy, as well as test fit them before printing.
