Saw a nice paint how-to on page 124 of the June06 RC Car Magazine.
Thought I would give it a shot.
Dively's liquid mask, and Dry-Erase Marker flame sketchings.
The Dry-erase is nice to work with. Wipes off easily with your finger.
Just don't slide it across the towel your working on or its gone as well......
I can pretty much count the layers, by bathroom trips for the hair dryer <G>........
This is a first for any freehand work. I have an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS coming,
but did the best I could with the VL. I hope I can still continue to use the acrylic FasKolors with it.
Like to spray (and breath) in the hobby room.
Templates are by Artool. Keyword is "skullmaster" on ebay......
I mixed the beige-tan bone coloring myself......
If you look closely, you can see the black overspray on the (roof) yellow part.
Lesson learned: Use a tack rag, maybe some denatured alcohol......
Done entirely with FasKolors, and sealed with "sprint white" spray can.
Hope y'all enjoyed it!
