bought this GT off a buddy for $60, no motor. old radio I'm surprised even worked. ugly old wheels and tires and beat up body

got an OS 18 cvr, futaba radio, proline wheels/tires, and JC illuzion painted by larry at KG

this is my first rc in almost 10 years. i had a GT when i was 12 or 13, and couldnt pass this one up. little harder to find parts now tho,lol. JC don't even make this body anymore

alot parts you can still get
i think there is one or two on here for sale if you want to get some spare parts or another one to build check the forsale section

Very nicely done. I have a bare bones Rc10 that i want to build up myself. This will be my first one. Right now its just a rolling chassis thats waiting for parts.
Yours looks sick.

What did you need for the os to drop in? Did you use the stock motor mounts as well as the gears and clutch from the original engine?
 
straight drop in, just gotta make sure to get the (S), short crankshaft
 
oh ya its sweet. tons of power! it'll pull wheelies all day, id like to go up a couple teeth on the clutch bell and get some top speed, its got loads of torque so it shouldnt affect acceleration any
