Well i got sick of the crappy 3.3 powerplant in my 4908 t-maxx, so i decided i was either going to sell it or overhaul it, i couldnt find anything i really liked that i would buy if i sold it so i decided to overhaul the t-maxx. First i started looking at new engines for it since the 3.3 was just not doing it for me anymore, i really am a fan of picco engines so it was down to the os .18tm or the picco .26 max JL Red dot, so i bought a new JL Red dot. Then i decided i wanted to change the way it looks so i ordered some red maximizer 14mm (ditching the 17mm hubs) beadlocks. I then ordered the OFNA motor mount for the new picco and also ordered new 3.2" Badlands for the new tires. Also i will be switching to 4 buggy/truggy shocks and springs. The Engine came last week and the badlands and engine mount will be here monday (Tomorrow). But as far as the maximizers go i have no idea, i ordered them on wednesday and i still havent recieved a message or anything saying they have been shipped..

But here are some pics of how the t-maxx sits as of now awaiting all of its goodies.

Looks Great

Looks like a fun project... can't wait to hear your process and see the finished product... good luck...hope you still get time to pop in and see project t maxx every now and again... original name too... lol:p:

How'd you get that Tmaxx to sit so low? That's how I want mine. Going to get some 50 weight shock oil. Probably change to pullstart. I love the way your truck looks!!! Can't wait to see the results. great pics.

With some rpm arms your tmaxx should sit just as low as mine does. I haven't changed anything suspension wise other than the rpm arms and put the shocks out to the furthest point on the arms.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Tires and engine mount should be here today! :)

Everything but the buggy shocks and cvds are installed.

Heres an update for Project PiccoMAXX
