I decided to make a few changes to my Stampede, here is what it looks like right now.

I missed out on some brand new stampede arms for $35 the other day from Fast Lane machine. Are those from FLM? What kind of wheels are they?

The arms are from FLM, the wheels are HPI Scorch. If you buy FLM arms you will need to buy rod ends for a Jato, part #5525....I wish they would advertise that, I can't use the turn buckles that come with the kit until the Jato rod ends get here. I wasn't too happy about that!

The wrappedrods extended chassis cam in, I haven't decided if it was worth it or not. It did come exactly as advertised and shipping was fast considering I bought it right before a holiday. The cuts and bends or nice and it has a nice brushed finish (a nice change from bling bling). The only problem I have with it is the junk screws that were included, IMO it should be drilled for the stock screws and it needs a couple of holes drilled for easy servo access. But hey, it was $20.00 so I don't mind tweaking a couple of things :D

This is what it looks like fresh out of the packing.

Well I got it all together and took it for a little test run, it handles much better than stock! It still wheelies like crazy but they are a little more controllable. The chassis went together pretty easy but I had to drill a few new holes on the skids and re drill most of the holes so the screw heads would be flush with the chassis...For $20.00 I guess it's worth it but for anyone wanting to upgrade their chassis spend a little more and get the FLM chassis. Here are a couple of pics with the old Chevy body, I was test fitting but this is the body that I will eventually run on it.
