Hello there,

New to RC Nitro Talk. I hope someone can help because I am at a loss.
Recently purchased a very clean Revo. RB523 motor and all the bells and whistles. I ran it for the first time yesterday and everything was fine. All of a sudden the truck was not responding to my commands. Thought that the batteries were weak so I replaced them all....truck and radio. Did my check..steering, brakes and throttle before starting the motor and was fine. As soon as the motor kicks over and runs....the servos start twitching and doesn't respond to the radio. Motor shuts off....everything works again. I have tried everything. The Opti drive is not connected as it has been removed. There is no electrical connection to the motor and the electronics what so ever. As long as the motor is not running...the radio and electronics work fine. Motor running...no response and servos twitch.
Help...suggestions??? Sorry for the long winded note.

My assumption is that the vibration of the engine is causing a loose connection in the receiver to fault. I would look at your wiring very close while waiting on an expert to respond with more insight. Good luck.

Definitly sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Not having the optidrive rules that out. Pull all the plugs out of the reciever and plug them all back in. Also, remove the crystal and plug it back in. If it still does it, try plugging your receiver battery wire directly into the receiver (bypass the switch). If that helps, then your switch is going bad on you.

OK guys....I will try to unplug everything and then try it again. It is just strange that all of a sudden it would do this while I was running it.
Something has to be loose.
I will update you soon.
