please help i have a rush evo t-15 engine the problem is i fitted a performance exhuast on it the name of it is ielke I'm now having problems tuning it.
it starts up ok but just cuts out after a couple of seconds i dont know if its the high speed needle or the low speed needle i have even gone to factory settings but that doesn't do anything either.
can someone help please I'm at my witts end now.

when it cuts out will it start straight back up again?
have you had it idling for a while whilst you tune it? if so start it, leave the glow start on and hit the throttle. Lots of fuel (liquid form) should come out the exhaust. Then it should work.
It may be your needle settings, maybe the performance exhaust dosn't like your factory settings. If it is it is more than likley the low speed needle (do you have an idle stop screw on engines that small?)try leaning off the low-speed 1/8 of a turn.

when i start it up it just cuts out after a few seconds if it doesn't i press the primer a few times then it starts no problem but only for a couple of secs

Check the pressure line from the pipe to the fuel tank, make sure it isn't clogged.
Is this pipe sized for your engine? Too big of a pipe may not create enough backpressure to keep the fuel flowing to the carb. Had this problem on a Savage with an RDLogics twin dual stinger pipe.

Ahhh, the ever-popular knock-off exhausts. Trust me, I've been there. Go over to the HPI Savage section of the forum, and look at the Team Infinity pipe thread.

The moral of that thread; some pipes are complete and utter garbage, even tho they look decent.

Make sure your new pipe is about the same diameter and roughly the same length (can be plus or minus 10MM or so. Anything more than that will give you issues, like you're having).

There really ought to be a law against knockoffs pretending to be name-brand.
