No Fett, no balloons, it was pretty dry powdery snow so I wasn't real worried. I had no problems at all with it. I did spend a good two hours cleaning it when I was done.

Customer service is almost as important as the product itself. After hearing everyones praise of Jeff and Fantoms customer service. Let us know what you think after you run it with the new piston, sleeve, and carb X. I was considering trying one in my RS4 3.

You were considering a "Tin Can Special"???? Over a Slow S.....I mean OS?

Seriously, if they have the carb problem fixed, it is a screaming engine. 42,000 RPM would kick some serious butt in a light RS4.


Hey X, thanks for the info. That looks like a much better design. But my problems were mostly with the LSN. It would not hold a setting AT ALL. have they changed that design any? It looks kind of the same. But I guess the big question is how do you like it?

Fett, the reason I was thinking of going with a Fantom in my RS4 3 is exactly what you said 42,000 rpms in that light car would kick ass. They can also be had for considerably less than an OS. I see the FR 15 on e-bay all the time for $108+$8 shipping A cvrx is gonna set me back alot more than that. Not to mention their customer service seems to be outstanding.

Mike, You're right. I tend to drift when ole' NC starts his sh__. It's just so damn fun to mess with him!

NC, I think you are making a good desission on the FR. let us know how it does!

Damn X, even you? Et tu Brute... the only way that the greasy arches will be on my next body is when I run over Fetts widdle ugly truck and he is stuck in my grill like bugs in Eddy's teeth. :hehe: Or McDonalds pays me mad loot to advertise there greaseburgers on my Spectacular Nitro RC :ha
 
Way to go X !!!!:jester: NC, looks like the truth is out!! As for excuses, you're the one with the "I have a race to go to" every weekend all summer. But we'll get togather again and yes, I'll put some more Masher tracks across the Jeep. (Plus I'll bring my spare parts again to keep you running.)
 
Dude I think you are smoking some of them funny cigarettes, cuz your memory is shot. It was Divine who used up all our spare parts. But if it makes you feel better by fooling yourself into thinking you can actually run with the big dogs, then who am I to take away your fantasy.

As far as being gone on the weekends, well thats my job, and without that theres no RCs :( So it's a dirty job but someone has to do it. :naughty:

In regards to putting masher tracks on my Jeep, well lets just say after witnessing your blazing (cough, cough) performance of your truck lets just say HAHAHAHAHAoooooooooooooHAHAHA, cmon now, you know that tin can special aint gonna catch my OS. I already told you once what Fantom stands for... Found At No Tracks On Maxxes...so keep up the dillusion if it makes you happy, LOL.
 
The only thing I'll be smoking is the little Happy Jeep! You're right, Divine Definatly broke more then you did, but he doesn't want to play with us any more.

P.S. I also agree, you're Jeep is a big-DOG!
 
Fett, you know why Divine and I broke more parts than you? Cuz our rigs were running, you aint gonna break nothing sitting on the bench scratching your head trying to get it to run. 8-0
 
I would have to say that Divine had a lot less run time then I did. even you have to admit that.
 
Yeah, last time he did have his share of problems, what was it 3 or 4 spur gears before he realized his tranny was falling out? We really need to talk Sky and El in to coming down one weekend for a bash, if theres anyone who knows about breakin stuff it's El.

Send that carb back to Fantom so you can have it before our next bash.
 
We need to all get togather. I think that I remember El has got a bull dozer. Just think of the possibilities!!! I do remember Divine's spur problems. I think he cleaned us both out there. That reminds me, he still owes me an OS carb for all the stuff I gave him.

I'll try to get ahold of Jeff at Fantom and see about the new carb.
 
I really need to find some buds up around Buffalo. I have a bobcat, dumptruck and plenty of insanity to make a track if someone has the land. Actually, I'm trying to get my cousin to let me build one out at his place. He just doesn't like the company.....

Oh well.....
