Pro Line 40-Series Tyres on Traxxas 3.8" Rims?

I have been looking at some nice Traxxas T-Maxx 3.8" rims for my WK, but I want to use Pro Line tyres on them. Will Pro Line 40 series tyres fit straight on T-Maxx rims or do you need Pro Line 40 series rims?

Yeah, you need 40 series rims to go with 40 series tires.

So anyone know what Traxxas 3.8" tyres would work best on loose drit, gravel and grass?

Unfortunatley, Traxxas doesn't really support that wheel very well with tire options. I see a large variety of 2.8 tires for there off-road trucks but I don't see anything for a 3.8 wheel on their website.. :shrug:

I'm running into the same thing with my Revo - the large Traxxas rims are a 3.8" diameter and all the aftermarket tires are for 3.7" rims.

Back in the day I'd stretch tires up one size and they'd get the job done.

Meh, nevermind. Just an idea I had.

Do I take it from the apparent incompatibility between Traxxas and Pro Line rims/tyres that 30 series tyres don't fit Traxxas 2.8" rims either?
