I had to fly w/ no ID leaving my home...mywallet got stolen the night before I was supposed to fly.....this was only 1.5 years after 9/11...I went to Dallas and back w/ no ID, but found renting a car to be impossible, even w/ a DMV issued temp liscencse from Texass....go figure....
