alrght, does anybody have a good reference for how long the fuel tubing from tank to pipe should be in general and is there any difference in how long it is with different size engines?? ok thanks
 
I don't think there is any general rule of thumb. The shorter it is the better fuel flow will be. However the longer the fuel line is from the pipe to the tank it will be easier to shut off your ride.
 
The pressure line should be from 8-10 inches. At least that's what I read in a magazine article on tuning. Also most manuals say that is the proper length.
 
Tank to carb should be about 8". The line from pipe to the tank can be shorter.
 
it really matters how long the fuel line is? the on the feeds into the carb? cuz i no that longer/shorter into pipe changes pressure anybody got anything else on this?
 
Generally, the longer you make the tank to carb line, the richer you will have to set your needles and vise versa. Follow the manufacturers recomendations on the pressure line length or method and you'll be fine. Anywhere from 6-8 inches is plenty for the pressure line imo. The carb to tank line will vary depending on how you route it and if you choose to run an external filter or not. Make a couple of loops in your pressure line to help keep the fuel from the tank out of the pipe. AE recommends this and so does Team Losi.:thumbup:
