Power Distribution box

Hey guy's I was wondering if anyone knows how to build a power distribution box for my charger, so I can charge more then one battery at a time while using one charger. Thanks in advance

i dont think that would work out very well. the charger has to "read" the battery to know how much charge it has so it knows when to stop charging. with multiple batteries connected the charger wont be able to tell which is which and may overcharge one. there are chargers available that will do 2 packs at the same time though.

If you look in Radio Control Car action 2008 buyers' guide there's a section on the ultimate rc workbench that has a little article on power distribution, they said for instructions on making your own so you can charge multiple battery's at the same time look in the June 2007 issue or visit rccaraction.com. Well I couldn't find it on their site... : ) But I do know what you mean, but the guy that wrote that article figured something out..

I'm thinkin you mean a 12V source distribution? If so, that's as simple as wiring a bunch of banana jacks with 8 gauge wire in parallel, and mounting the whole affair in a box.

They may be talking about the power supply for the chargers, like building a power supply that puts out enough amps for two chargers, like if you had a 15 amp psu you could run two chargers at like 6 amp charge rate...

Thanks guys for the info, I read the article again and it was for a 12v power source.. : ) sorry for the dumb question just had a case of selective reading, needed to reread that article one more time...:hehe:

Yeap, I read the article as well. It's telling you how to use multiple chargers on one power supply. However, you can buy the Hobbico accucycle charger if you're on a budget to charge two batteries at once, or if you want a really nice charger, Hyperion just came out with a dual charger that www.maxamps.com carries.
