power cuts out sc10 brushless

the other day i was messing with my sc10 and i realized that when the battery was starting to get low if i hit full throttle it would shut off i know ithas a voltage cut off i am running nimh and i have it set to that but is there a voltage cut off for the brushless set up this is my first brushless set up ever so this is all new to me and it is the rtr setup any help is greatly appreciated id hate to fry something

Happen to me twice today and when i switch it to reverse it really struggles to bring it self foward on a fully charged battery.

try a capacitor talked to my local rc expert and it helped out still does it but not as often what happens is it draws too much power and shuts its self out to protect it its a 5 dollar capacitor pre wired hook it up to you receiver it helped out alot still does it but not as much
