Some time ago I was sending an email and I hit ignore all on my spellcheck by accident.

I was selling military dogtags on eBay at the time. So I send this email out about shipping some dogtags to a customer.

So spellcheck doesn't know the word dogtags and wanted to change it to doglegs.

So the email went something like this:

Thanks for your dogleg order. Your doglegs are all set and you should be receiving them shortly.

I hope you enjoy your doglegs and don't hesitate to contact me if you need more doglegs.
Sincerely,

Jon Broome

As soon as I hit ignore I realized what I had done but it too late.

One of my first jobs was at a college publications office, back in thedays when type had to be output on RC paper and pasted up - no computer composition.

One of the advertisers for a play program was "Puck's Doughnuts."

I managed to catch the typo, Puck's Dognuts.
