Hmmm...kind of tough to pick my best as there are soooo many great ones to choose from. Here are a few of my various RCs over time.

The Muddy Maxx (no longer own this vehicle):

Another one in the mud:

The Muddy Maxx without the mud:

No mud and plenty of air:

El Pirata's Savage just prior to hitting the cameraman (ME), and Zandor...I know it is not my RC, but it is still a great picture that I took:

My Savage airborne (another vehicle that I no longer own):

I have tons of great shots of my buggies in action, but this one seems to be a great one (MBX-5 airborne):

Another one of the MBX-5, the black X in the image is the take-off point:

And now for a couple of videos. The first is about 30 minutes long and is 97MB filesize. The video is not just of my buggy, but includes footage of my buggies. This video was shot at the first Hampton Roads RCNT Bash. Note, the video is MP4 format and Quicktime is the preferred viewer.

The next video is some hardcore air and isn't nearly as long. Believe me you will not be disappointed by downloading either video. This one is 27.8MB and shows some HUGE air by my buggy and a few others.

Enjoy...

sky i dont know what server you have those on, but I'm getting a combined dl speed of 500+k best I've ever seen. can't wait to view them.

he must be on a good server with like a t3 connection...lol

mine wont open the mp4 ...which media player do i need or which codec????

The movies are MP4 format and work best on Quicktime viewer. You can download it for free at Apple.com.

As I stated at the end of my post :D

I went back and hi-lited it for future members who stumble onto this thread.

Skyline Racer that pic of your buggy jumping over the street is the largest air I have seen other than an R/C plane. How the he11 did that ride of yours hold up after that air?

Scott.

Scott, he his was not the only buggy that made that jump. If you click the second link (the 27.8MB length one) in my post above, you'll see a few buggies making that flight. Granted, SkyLineRacer's was the first on that particular day, but El Pirata made the very first attempt on that jump months earlier. Once SkyLineRacer made it with his wingless buggy, several of us said we couldn't just stand by and watch...pretty soon buggies were flying over that thing left and right.

The only damages suffered were in the suspension areas...snapped a-arm, busted shocks, that sort of thing. The one exception would be the Savage that didn't land so well and came away with an S bend or two, in the chassis TVPs, that shouldn't have been there.

Just a few from the last 2 race days I had.

Excellent shots. Very clear and show some serious speed on the MT. How many of those buggies, in the last shot, finished the race?

Thanks. If I remeber all but 1! That is the B-Main and most of the guys are top racers. That was the thing at the R/C Pro race in the mains most of the cars made it the full race. It was great to see a big race like that and what the pros can do.

It must have been quite a site. I have never seen an RC race as I am a basher...but that looks like it would have been cool to witness.

Wow SkyMaxx that is some major bashing. That is by far the most impressive acts of wingless flying I have seen. That takes some major balls to let your ride fly that high and far and to know you will suffer the consiquences of a broken ride. to you guys.

Scott.

We had a blast doing it, and the damages were minor compared to some of my previous outings. As I said, busted one a-arm and a shock and that was with four or five major jumps. Heck, the one jump that landed nose first came away with no damage...for that reason, I think the MBX-5 is an excellent buggy.

Look for more crazy stunts to come...

hey skymaxx ...would it possible to make that vid in a .wmv so i can see it...everytime i d/l quicktime it crashes my pc....

i never have good luck with quicktime...sux

LOL...that is a can of worms I would rather not go into...the whole PC vs Mac, can of worms that is.

Unfortunately for you, I am a Mac user and so far my tries at converting stuff to WMV have been less than stellar. I'll pull up my editor some time in the not too distant future (I'm taking a trip away from home for the next few days) and I'll see what I can do to accomodate the PC video players.

sounds good or you can email me a zipped file and i'll try to convert it in my dazzle digital video creator program...may be worth a shot....

[email protected]

if i can convert it then you'll know what proggy works...if i can't...oh well no harm no foul....lol

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you on this thread, had some priority stuff come up with work and family. I'll see what I can do for you on this tomorrow or the next.

As for e-mailing a zipped file, that won't work so well unless you have a huge pipe as the raw footage is digital and the compressed footage is as small as it will get for that quality. You would be better off just downloading it and seeing what you can do with the MP4 that I posted. Regardless, I will try and put together something a little more PC friendly for you.
