So yeah like the title says, I'm now looking to try to find a way to seal my spur gear.. after this just happened
Its never happened to me before and luckly had an extra spur laying around. But Now I'm wondering if there is any possible way to actually have some sort of shroud around the spurt gear.
I know it can't really go all the way around.. but it would be nice to have some sort of shroud that will keep this from happening again. I live in the mountains where its got ALOT of small rocks just like this in the photo and surprisingly I've never imagined this happening when i first got the truck.
But now that it has happened i can see it happen very often from now on.
I almost thought my clutch shoes burned out and I'm sure after this I've taken a little bit of life off of them. Because i didnt notice it till it got to the point where i was revving alot with out it moving and finally shut her down.
So ultimately i want to avoid this as much as possible.
