^^^^ did that and fixd the idle but now when I try to make sure the LSN is set I do the pinch test n it still runs runs runs then shuts down never revs up but I'm afraid I'm riching it way to much the screw it self shows 2 or 3 full threads I wanna say I feel like that's too much but runs perfect I jst dot wanna over heat it yet to the touch feel hot but not a burning sensation I did richin the HSN just to be safe n my top end power is still their so I'm holding everythings good.... need to get a inferred thermo

220F is typical head temp, this is down by the glow plug. The top of the head runs pretty close to that and at those temps, it will burn your skin. You can do the spit test once it's warmed up. Put a dab of spit on the head. If it slowly steams away, your cool, if it sizzles and bounces off, your hot. It should sit there and burn away after a few seconds. Water boils around 210F depending on your elevation. Get a temp gun. ;) A temp gun isn't an "end all be all", it's just another tool in a nitro rc's arsenal of tuning. Performance, sound, oil spatter and smoke trail are some of your others. Until you know what to listen and watch for, the temp gun helps you a lot. A temp gun is paramount when doing a new engine break-in.

Where are you pinching it? Have you run the truck and got the engine up to temp then tried the pinch test?

This tells you about the pinch test:
