Popular Hot Rodding TV shows nitro MT.

Anyone else catch the Popular Hot Rodding episode this morning ?
They closed the show with an HPI Nitro MT. They had a small ramp set up in the shop and one guy drove it up the ramp and the other guy (wearing gloves) caught it in the air. Pretty cool.
I think it's cool when I see the hobby on TV.

They have TV shows for just about anything. I wish they had one dedicated to the hobby. They could show new products, all the races, how-to's. Just like the shows for the real cars, but for Nitro and Electric instead.

well u can relate some of the stuff they show to about everything also, i usually watch it and relate it to my quad

i missed it, i was going to watch it then i changed my mind and watched Beyond The Glory with Kevein Garnett. o well, they will probly show a re-run later on some time.

I'm not sure if it's in your area but I know one is in mine. It comes on at 9:00am so I usually miss it because I'm at school and if I'm not at school, I'm bashing usually in the mourning. Speaking of jumping ramps and catching. I went to a monster truck show one time and they have freestyle moto x there too. He was jumping a buggy or a stadium truck(I didnt know the diffrence back then before I started the hobby) and was jumping them off the 15 foot moto ramp and some guy was catching. Got nailed in the head slightly and everyone laughed.

I live 60 miles from where the show airs and only have this to say!I saw it several monthes ago and at the very end they made a comment on where they got the MT.It just so happens to be the closest LHS to me.I refuse to do business with those idiots,they have no way of knowing what they have in stock,most shops keep inventory on a computer,not this one.I replied to another thread about the price of fuel being 10$ more per gallon for the same brand from the same chain store across town,Ya that was them.But it was cool to see a nitro on the tube!

I saw that episode A LONG time ago (before I even knew about nitro RC's) I would love to see it again but we dont get it anymore...

my parents have digi cable, and when I'm around to watch, there are two RC shows that pop up occasionally. i know they come on at specific times but i have no clue as to when these are.

both are simple RC shows, mostly RTR stuff but still cool.

one has that chris chianellei (butchered his last name) and the other was inside rc with some chick and dude. chick is decent looking, but no hottie.

Its is on satalite and it on " diy " channel. I have seen the program a couple of times. It does offer alot of information to help people new to the sport , to get involed. Plus they demo new products all the time. I am not sure what channel # it is because everybody is not on direct tv. :jester:
