Needless to say, Its been raining here quite heavily.

Rain is cool. Living in the tropics where it had monsoon 3 - 6 months out of the year you just get used to rain.

Raining in the tropics sounds nice actually.. Raining in NY when it's 45 degrees out, & your stuck in rush hour traffic or just working outside, sucks the big one....
I jumped on a cruise to the Bahamas from a port in Puerto Rico one time. Out of nowhere, it rained like a bitch for about 15-20 minutes. The damn streets dried up, like it never rained, in about 10 minutes....

People bash Seattle cuz they associate it with rain... Florida gets more rainfall than we do.

I was born and raised there for my first 19 years. I remember one time when I came up there from Panama and saw a Seahawks gamin the the Kingdome. Anyway I went outside for a beer and told the vendor that they needed to pay the heating bill outside, he replied I could go back to California... I guess you guys are getting quite a few of them up there these days...

Wow, I didn't realize we were getting that much rain. I figured that since it hasn't really rained here in awhile, there would be no flood dangers. So much for that theory.
