Diver, i've got the largest pinion and smallest spur gear for the ntc3...dunno what the teeth numbers are though...but it's basically the highest gearing i can get

My car isn't actually THAT fast, i've only done 60mph, but it's got a low powerband so gearing high is the only way to gear it. Although I don't race, I think i'm running pretty good gear ratios for racing.

hicks, yep, i'm talking about the truckzilla...but with the way things have been going with that engine, it'll probably blow again...lol

kwong2001 how is ur car running? I used os rockets a couple of weeks ago and my mill seems better then new, only thing I notice is that you might need a new con rod. Mine developed a little play after break in. I replaceds it and its fine. any probs with yours?

So far it's been going pretty good. I've got about 3 break in tanks through it now. And I was told I can run it hard now since i already went through break in when it was new.

But my last tank I had it running super good. I think it lost a little low end torque...but that may just be me, or the fact it's not tuned perfectly yet.. I still need to get it precisely tuned.

As of right now, the engine is apart. I'm trying to clean it but still need to get some nitro cleaner from the hobby shop.

Well i bought a refillable can thingie, but I can't get enough pressure in it due to not having a decent compressor :( So I just buy the stuff at the hobby shop

Anyhoo, I've decided to up the percentage to 30% nitro now. It's running super strong. I had it tuned SUPER good, but for some reason, as soon as I put the body on, the car started leaning out like crazy in the top end, so I think it needs some retuning. But the engine is running like a champ. I'll be writing a review of OSRocket's resizing job sometime in the next couple of days.
