We were talking on the "What's the point of.." thread in this forum. The disagreement between the boys was whether changing the transmission to FOC, would reduce rotating mass, hence giving more power and less abuse on parts. Also, rotating parts take up energy that is roughly equivalent to 4 times their mass to move. So anytime that you reduce rotating mass that has to spin (unsprung weight) it will free up horsepower. Cool. I'm really impressed with Plaidfish.
