I got a new head to replace the destroyed head on my Picco 26. The motor has burned 4 gallons of 20% O'Donnell race and it runs better and stronger than ever. Here are some pics of what the sleeve looks like. I cannot see any wear in the sleeve. The little line near the top of the sleeve is not a wear mark. It is a stain from where the button sits in the sleeve. I cannot feel any wear in that area. The piston does not even go up that far, it just misses the line. This motor has plenty of life left. The pics do not really show how clean the sleeve looks. The black spot on top of the piston is reflected in the sleeve which makes the sleeve look a little dark.

put some big zip ties on that head to keep it from getting messed up again..

I always use 4 large zip ties but they do not provide much protection. You can see the ties I use in this picture. The ties break quickly on impact. The wierd part is the LOWER fins broke away from the head (see 3rd picture in the first post).
