Alright, so I took off the plug, and I noticed that the piston is kind of goldish-yellowish. Is this suppose to happen?

I'm pretty sure thats normal, if I'm not right please correct me, but metal usual gets that color after getting really hot, so i would say its normal, and nothing to worry about.

Oh okay.

BTW: I just got my camera right now, but I have to go home to upload them (I'm at my dad's office).

The fuel you burn has castor oil and other oils in it that turn brown and tend to caramelize the inside of the engine. More than likely, your con-rod and crank case also look that color.

Nothings wrong. This is normal.

If the top of the piston is black or pitted, then you have issues.

head shim? it more than likely means its running lean and getting to hot.(pitted&black) the gold or yellow is fine like olds said its just from the oil.

Yeah I know. I saw on a video somewhere that if your piston is showing pitting that you don't have enough head shims on.

Yeah, it's typically indicative of to much compression for the fuel your running or too hot of a plug and the fuel is igniting too early in the rotation. A cooler plug and more head shims are typically in order if that's the case.
