Sold / Found Piranha Digital Peak Charger "MODDED"!

Hey guys,

I'm gonna be selling my Piranha charger. I'll be saving up for something more, maybe a SuperBrain. Anyways, here's my Piranha Digital Peak Charger. I modded it so it doesn't use the ports for the positive and negative signs. Everything still works fine. I have not tested it using the DC outlet though. The bottom plate is missing, but it doesn't change anything. I dremel'd down that one fin thing so it sets down fine. Would like $30 shipped.

Does it do a decent job charging? I read the specs on tower and it appears to store settings for battery packs. Is this the one that has that feature?

Yup it is. It does a decent job for me. I always charged it with the lowest Delta Peak settings and under 3V, and everything works out fine.

I currently have the cheaper superbrain 959. Great charger, does a nice job. My only complaint is that I have to set the mv every time I unplug it. Considering how flaky the buttons on the panel are, it gets annoying. Having something that I can easily switch (with buttons that work of course) will be a nice thing to have. Plus, this will let me charge my remote and my trucks at the same time. When you got bashing on the brain, every second counts!

It showed up today and works as described. Glad I was able to snag the manual online. It's a bit more involved than I'm used to to setup.
