i just put a .28 big red into my revo. i want to keep the setup with the pipe like it is stock, and not have one hanging out the side. My question is what is a good tuned pipe for a big block that fits where the stock pipe goes on a revo. Like i said, i like it to look clean so i want to keep it where the stock pipe was. Thanks in advance

A pic would help me a little, but as long as it has a big block sized exhaust you can put on a THS pipe and header or an RD logics bb pipe and header. I have the RD logics and it works excellent with a sirio s27.

My engine is only back about 3/8" from stock, and the pipe is tucked right in nicely ahead of the body mount. It looks very clean. I'd post an updated pic if my OL would delete some off her camera so I could use it.:\

Where could I get a THS or RD logics pipe, that is exactly what I'm lookin for, where did you order it?

Trinity also used to make one, but I'm having a hard time finding it at the normal sites it used to be on. Found it at NitroHouse though:

Depending on where you look, it's Epic or Trinity, but it comes with two headers and a removable stinger insert to open it up for a BB.

Here's an RD Logics BB pipe for the revo:

That trinity pipe is sweet, I like that it can be converted with a different header and the stinger insert.

This is the RD BB pipe I have, the one Olds posted will not fit a BB exhaust port. I would double check your engine just in case, it should have a much larger than stock exhaust port. I can't find a pic that shows it anywhere.

Yes it is the larger port, I'm using the header that came with the traxxas BB kit for now, but apparently trinity stopped making them? or were discontinued according to my hobby shop. Said they had one a while back on clearance for 10 bucks! i was like poop i wish i woulda saw that.

I would suggest the THS system then, even though I have the RD one. I love THS pipes, I've seen a dramatic change in my 3.3 with a THS. they didn't have that one out when I got mine for the sirio.

I have a .28 Big Red in my Revo... I used the Traxxas BB header that came with the kit along with a THS pipe I was using with my Picco .26. Just get the silicone sleeve. However I did talk to THS about this and the REVO pipe is a little restrictive. They now have a REVO BB pipe that comes with a header. If you have the cash flow, I would go in that direction.

Heres a link to the thread I made about the installation I did, there are some pictures of the pipe setup.

Forgot the link....
