Hi guys, just got myself a digital camera so I can post a few pics of my Savage 25! The quality isn't great because I had to reduce it so I could upload them. They are all in my gallery.

List of mods so far:

Hotbodies polished ally pipe with stinger, motor saver filter, alloy fuel filter, 1200mah HPI Hump Pack, Alloy brake hex twin disks with carbon pads, Team Orion 'Meathook' tyres, ballraced steering, uprated servo saver, Hi-Tec 645MG steering servo, Ofna throttle/brake linkage mod, Stainless hex-key full screw set, Purple alloy rollover bar, HPI 'Chubby' cooling head, Tamiya low fuel warning light system, 'Shock Sock' spring covers 13T/52T gearing and Proline Chevy panel van bodyshell painted by me with rattle cans (my first ever body job)... :)

Mods I have planned are:

Spider diff mods, rear first just to test it out.
Carbon TVPs.
Alloy Skid plates (set of 3) and alloy bumpers.
Bigger engine (but only when the S25 dies as it is pretty awesome as it is!)

Hope you like it! :classic:

P.S.

How the heck do I make it show a picture in my post?
I have tried fiddling around with HTML but still can't get it to work....??
:stupid:

Dude it's been a hell of a long time since someone has posted their ride. Glad to see someone is posting their ride looks nice too. You have some good mods done. Say with that gearing are you pulling wheelies all day long or what?? I am running 15/52 gearing with my picco and man it flips all day long.

Gonna go and get it covered in poop now, the way they should be!
Will post more pix soon.

Glad you like it, and yes it flips far too much! It wasn't a problem when I had the old stock beat-up body on there, but I put some effort into that new shell so I now run 15/52 to try and keep it shiny side up...
It wheelies on grass but just kicks up dirt and goes like hell on any other surface. My stock S-25 even with a tuned pipe and filter probably has nowhere near the power of yours I'd guess.

Alan I was just guessing that from your original post since you said it was running 13/52 gearing. I dunno I seem to like the way mine loads up with a 52T spur on it. Had some issues with the49T spur wouldn't load up at all. Newayz nice truck.

It had the 13T bell on when I took the pictures, as I was gonna take some action pics of it doing wheelies but my batteries went flat (again!) so I swapped to the 15T and I kinda prefer it that way anyhow. I think the fact that my new tyres are a smaller diameter than the stock rubber, made the overall gearing so low it was really not practical.
As it is now with the 15/52T and new tyres, it feels only marginally higher geared thant the 13/52T and stock tyres.

Just out of interst, I saw 11T clutch bells on Ebay, I bet with wheelie bars fitted and the Picco, it would accelerate like a jet fighter....!! :jet:

That's a nice truck Alan_UK. Are those the stock tires of the HB Dirt Demon? How does it perform off-road?
:sheep:

They perform really well on everything except really gloopy mud, but I tend to stay away from the thick stuff because I am too lazy to clean it!!

I don't know if those tyres are fitted as standard to the Dirt Demon or not, I bought them from my LHS. They are made by Team Orion, they are their 'Fresh Kicks - Meathooks'
Later,

Al.

Alan_UK, I myself can't wait to see the Savage Covered in poop. Her in Nuevo-Mexico (New-Mex) we get covered in "Collichi" mud. It's a Red-Sticky-as-Cat-poop mud that will get everybody "Slip-Slidin-Away". I hope you like my Sav all covered in the mud. My next pix will be some action.

Coool man, Always dig the pix! (I like Pictures) (Your already catching it!) My Good Man!

Ciao Para Now! or Hasta Flembagle! or I will look forward to your next post.
