Nice lookin rig... Those Ofna's are built real tough too..
Drop that front end down till the arms are level, and ditch those street tires..:)
What part of 1/8th scale offroad did you miss... lol
J/K bro...

LOL....thanks...I was just breaking it in and didn't want to tear up the off-road tires.

Man, nice rig! .30 is a massive mill for a buggy. That thing must scream! How long did it take you to build it? I am getting ready to pick up a new Jammin buggy. Do you know how they stack up to each other? Nice pics... Have fun man. I find it is so much easier to break in a buggy on pavement too.

Tom

Thanks...it is load and flies...this was a PCR rtr...I had the jammin buggy before and for me the PBS set-up is better.

Thanks for the info my friend... this will be my first buggy kit. I ordered the factory team verison. Thanks man.

so your saying save a few bucks and buy the pbs instead on the jammin rtr?

The PBS is more adjustable and any slop in the suspension can be dialed out with the pivot ball caps. With a regular C-hub suspension the slop can only be removed when the parts are replaced.

Holy shnizzle Batman!! A freaking 30 in a 1/8th scale buggy. We need vids man. Let us know how she handles with that load of power and torque!

Yes vids!!!!! That is one of the buggies I am looking at getting so vids would be nice to make a better decision.

How well will the pullstart hold up on a .30? Mine on my .28 barely lasted through break-in. (On a 7 PBS that I got rid of.)

Just a thought... You might want to replace that p/s with a rotostart back plate that uses a 1:1 ratio (no pinion to gear it down) and use a cordless drill.
My new Mayhem has a .26 with the setup mentioned above, I use one of my older Ryobi 18v drills and it works GREAT. One (old) battery lasted through the entire break-in and is still not needing a charge.

FYI... My drill turns around 1600 rpm which is plenty fine for starting a nitro motor (1:1 ratio), but my .28 had a geared-down rotostart, around 2:1, and the drill was too slow to start it very well.
It was one of those Ofna 6mm types that came up through the same area as the p/s did.

Holy crap dude,I've seen some 1/8th bug's move pretty dang quick with a hot .21,i can't even begin to imagine what a .30 would do,make sure to send us a video man, that's gonna be sweet.

oh man, getting drool all over the keyboard, I want to see that monster go!! vids! vids! please!!

how do you like the engine? pretty easy to tune and stuff? I might have to get that instead of the picco .28
