can't see them, how long did it take you to build ur car, my mp777 is taking forever, i painted the body before i finished the build, will post pics soon once everthing is done

I bought it used, but I can tear it down completly and put it back together in a long days work.

I'm working on getting the pics hosted so you can see em.

try picturetrail or photobucket as rcpics has horrible share of bandwith

Ok, fixed em. I just hosted smaller ones here. My normal host was down.

The body was a 1 hour paint job, that I'm not really crazy about it. I just wanted to be able to use the green wing and wheels for some time before I have Doug Summers do one for me.

i like it!!!....nice and simple with good color choice(even with easy paint job)

sometimes keeping it simple is the best looking cars....

nice car bro

Nice ride. A friend of mine has a K2. It like driving it, so I imagine the K3 is the same, or better.

I'm pretty happy with the k3 so far. I'm still to new with the 1/8th stuff to know if it's not doing what I want it to or not.

i like the paint job, nice and simple but still looks good.i just finished a 1 color green with jackal internel transfers on my new k3 and it looked sweet till i glued in that nose stiffner.the book says to glue it in with rubber type glue after paint has dried but when i did that it kinda reacted with the transfer on the nose and f-ed it up.its not too bad but next time ill glue that thing in before painting.

what chassis braces you using? my car is all built know as of last night minus motor/pipe and radio gear.ill be idle at this stage till after x-mas when ill get the rest of the parts and just trying to figure out what i should upgrade.the thing looks pretty bullet proof as is but any problem areas that need addressed?

I'm using racers edge chassis braces. I'm also using e-clipless hinge pins. They are pretty bullet proof from the get go. I'm considering cnced front knuckles.

where did you find e-cilpless pins? i saw that the xb8 and thunder tiger are using these but didnt know i could upgrade the k3.i think the 3 things id like to upgrade is these pins,(hate those damn clips) front knuckles and racersedge shock ends.

Brandon that is a nice ride. Have you considered using any Fioroni parts? I am goin with the Fioroni turbo sliding clutch soon for my MBX5. Do you bash, race or both?

Cool

Jon

Hirevn, I bought those at my local shop. I believe they are made by company called K-Factor.

Jon, I have a few fironi parts on it to start with. One being the top sterring plate. I'm kinda partial to the racers edge stuff just because it's hard anodized. I've given some thoughts to trying the fironi or works clutch, but am pretty happy with just the 3 shoeer I use. I pretty much race only. I don't have anyone to bash with, so I don't ever.
