The .18tz is better for RACING because the Picco .26 will just make you slide. Bashing though the Picco is better :D

I was reading a magazine article with a comparison of similar engines, and they did a lot of tests to determine which was faster on the track. The fact is, the fastest is not always faster. After the test results came in, it proved that the .18tz was faster than the .28 that they tested it against. The big engine was too powerful and to hard to control, and the smaller engine got better traction and provided MUCH better lap times.

well i ordered 1 and it say in stock but when ordering it said out of stock ofna/picco doesn't make the picco 26 anymore so i got the 0s 21tm came with manifold drop right in

My son and I have had a ofna/picco 26 in a revo for 1 1/2 yrs . Never let it get hot and yes they do fly!!!! If your track (like ours) has a small block (the OS 18 fits that class) or big block(the ofna/picco 26 or any size) So really seems what class you want to run in with your MT.

dang so you thinking maybe .26 over the .18tz?

I'm sorry should of added this its the picco.26maxx small block

Yes, that's what I have. Keep in mind that on loose dirt tracks for racing it slides everywhere because the engine just spins the wheels. If you plan to race get the 18. Straight lines on solid asphalt though the Picco kicks arse if you keep the front down.
