any one have it for their savage if so is it better then the 4.6? i need a new piston a connecting rod and a new crankshaft and if the picco is worth getting then i wont rebuild my 4.6.

Does picco make a standard BB 26? Thought they only had the one for the maxx, which was a mid-block. I don't think it will fit if that's what it is.

They do make a nice 28 though. Been contemplating getting one vs an LRP. Especially now that the LRP 28 seems to be getting replaced with the LRP30.

I'd have to guess that it's better than the stock HPI 28. I've only seen a couple of those run and wasn't impressed with the power or RPM's it produced. The picco is supposed to be a bit stronger/faster than the LRP and I have the LRP in my aftershock. Which has plenty of power for a savage. I'd have to guess the picco wouldn't have any problems in a savage either.

yea i dont think it would have any problems either my boss got the .28 but hes trying to find screws that he can use for the rotor start because he dosent want to use the pullstart
